The COVID-19 Prevention Badge signifies we have agreed to the State of Maine extensive 4 page guidelines for opening safely. We will remain socially distant with our staff and guests, we will wear face masks, frequently wash our hands and much much more to keep you and our staff safe.
Prior to your arrival, we ask that you refer to the Maine CDC website to understand and acknowledge Maine’s rules for protecting you, your loved ones, our staff and our community. We want you to feel safe and at ease when you arrive for your peaceful ocean retreat.
Operational Changes at Ocean Point:
~ The Pool will be open for Summer 2021 but the Hot Tub will be closed
~ We have new outdoor dining areas under umbrellas and tents scattered around the resort grounds.

New for 2020, we have installed a new Spectrum Fiber Optic internet and TV system, internet speeds are much faster than the old system. All 59 rooms also now have new State of the Art Clean Remotes, easy spray and clean off style remotes

Your health and safety is always our #1 concern and here at The Ocean Point Inn we are committed to keeping our guests safe.
Of course you already know we have the advantage of being located on an ISOLATED Point in Maine.
We are implementing the most comprehensive current cleaning practices as recommended by the CDC and the State of Maine. Our housekeeping staff has both hospitality and hospital/ in home care cleaning experience to support sanitizing surfaces correctly. Our staff is trained in recommended cleaning protocols. Several times a day all surfaces, doors, railings and common spaces will now be disinfected by washing with an approved germicide.
Additionally we have contracted with Servpro for deep cleaning needs associated with COVID-19 for total disinfection of rooms.
~ We will be installing hand sanitizing stations throughout the resort and will provide you with a room that has been completely disinfected.
~ We are working on new registration procedures at the front desk to limit personal interaction.
Our goal in all of this is to offer you an “Isolated” Ocean Point getaway where you can feel safe knowing you never need to leave the grounds.
NEW DINING AND RESTAURANT PROTOCOLS:
~ June 12th the Restaurant opens for the season
~ A la Carte service for Breakfast and Dinner daily
~ Takeout, curbside pick up and local delivery within the Ocean Point community.
~ Reservations are required for all dine in service.
~ Maximum party size is 8 per State guidelines
~ Social distancing will be followed per State guidelines with tables spaced 6′ apart.
~ Outside dining is available daily weather permitting
~ New “To-go” meal and cocktail delivery available for Ocean Point guests and area residents.
~ Entertainment Tues. Weds. and Thursday evenings!
~ Breakfast Hours: 7:30 – 11am – Reservations Required – Full Hot Breakfast is included for all guest stays. We do have limited indoor seating in the restaurant. Guests can also get “curbside pickup to go breakfast”. For 2020 we have a large outdoor tent with tables by the pool and new tables with umbrellas by the water.
