Deposit

A deposit of $2,500.00 shall be paid at the time this contract is signed. This deposit is NON REFUNDABLE in all circumstances, except in the case of cancellation by Ocean Point Inn. The deposit may be used to cover expenses at the conclusion of the event only, as a credit against any further charges due. Any unused portion of the deposit after all accounts are settled shall be returned by Ocean Point Inn to: ___________________________ (recipient).

Room Guarantee

A 25-room, two-night occupancy minimum will be guaranteed by the booking party. The room deposit guarantee (1/2 of the total package price, see enclosed rate sheet) is due upon signature of this contract or within five business days. Failure to pay the room guarantee deposit will result in cancellation of the contract, BUT NOT THE REPAYMENT OF THE DEPOSIT REFERRED TO ABOVE. We do require the six guest rooms in the Main Inn to be rented by the wedding party.

Cancellation

In the event that the function is canceled or the minimum number of rooms is not filled by the booking party, Ocean Point Inn shall make every effort to rent those rooms. If the rooms are re-rented, the unused room rental deposit shall be refunded to: _____________________________ (recipient).

No Smoking

The Ocean Point Inn is a fully non-smoking building: By Maine Law

  No-Show

In the event that a guest identified as part of the function fails to honor a reservation, _____________________________________ shall be responsible for paying for the unused room, unless Ocean Point Inn is able to re-rent the room.

Out of Pocket Expenditures

All expenditures identified by Ocean Point Inn as being out of pocket, such as but not limited to: special rental materials obtained at the request of the wedding or function party, tents, dance floors, bands, floral arrangements, transportation, etc., shall be paid for at the time of signing this contract, or five days prior to the due date of the expenditure.

Alcoholic Beverages

All liquor, wines, champagne, beer, and specialty drinks used by the wedding or function group can be provided only by the Ocean Point Inn.
