- The museum will roll out the red carpet for kids of all ages on Family Fun Day – including the young at heart – with free rides in a Ford Model T and a 1936 Dodge Fire Truck (originally in service in Augusta, Maine) along with a scavenger hunt, storytelling and other fun stuff for the family. Our special guests will be representatives from Operation Lifesaver, an active continuous public information and education program to help prevent and reduce crashes,… FMI

53rd Annual Windjammer Days - June 21 - 27, 2015
Fully rigged windjammers sail into Boothbay Harbor. Two days, Tuesday and Wednesday, of family fun, pancake breakfasts, waterfront concerts, and fireworks over the Harbor, street parade, antique boat parade and more.

26th Old Fashioned 4th of July Family Celebration. Arts & Crafts Show, children’s games, chicken barbeque, live music. Fireworks over the Harbor.

July 18 - Rails, Tails & Ales: The Midcoast Craft Beer Festival. Boothbay Railway Village - Visitors will enjoy great craft beer from Maine breweries, an outdoor car show, a family-friendly setting including steam train rides plus brewing demonstrations. Imagine a collection of historic Maine buildings surrounding a large, green lawn (the Village Green) filled with classic, vintage, antique, hot rods, muscle cars and much more. The Brewer’s tables, instead of being stuffed inside a tent, will be spread throughout Museum buildings surrounding the lawn like the livery stable and antique engine display.

Antique Auto Days - July 18 and 19, 2015
Over 250 restored and running antique autos. Demonstrations, contests, events and awards. Sunday afternoon parade through Boothbay Harbor. Hosted by the Boothbay Railway Village. FMI

July 25 - Engineer’s Day. Boothbay Railway Village - One of our 50th Anniversary events, celebrating the beginnings of our narrow gauge railroad line and honoring those early engineers that helped build the Museum: Tom Pond, Bob Raudenbush, and Wayne Pratt. Take a walk down memory lane as we operate some of our original equipment that visitors would have experienced back in the summer of 1965. Admission is free for Museum Members and included with Museum Admission for non-members.

July 26 & 27 - 58th Annual Boothbay Harbor Antiques Show & Sale
A small but fine antiques show & sale featuring 30 dealers showing 18th and 19th century furniture, Americana, antique & estate jewelry, antique silver, decoys, sporting antiques, fine glass & china including Staffordshire, Flow Blue, quimper, early soft paste; Americana, and early hearth equipment; Sandwich & other fine glass; pottery, brass, copper, and pewter; quilts and other textiles; antiquarian books, prints and paintings; and other fine antiques. The show has been running for 58 years and is an annual event that visitors and local residents look forward to. Held at the Boothbay Harbor Elementary School, directly behind the Boothbay High School on Route 27 coming in to town. Lunch & snacks are available. FMI

12th Annual Boat Builders Festival -  Late July early August
Tours of Shipyards, sail loft, small and large vessels, historical lectures, kids’ activities, art show, music, chowder, lobster rolls and more. Held at the Ship Builders Park in East Boothbay.

August 1 & 2 - The Art of Transportation. Boothbay Railway Village - Activities include live entertainment and much more.

August 8 - Antique Fire Truck Monster. Boothbay Railway Village - Activities include live entertainment and much more.

September 5 - Boothbay Railway Village - Manley Stover Day - The last of our 50th Anniversary events, this one honoring our long time buildings & grounds manager, the late Manley Stover, who literally built most of the Museum. His family’s 1926 Ford Model T Roadster Pick Up is a highlight of our collection and to honor him we’ll offer Model T rides throughout the day.

September 26 & 27 - Boothbay Charities Golf Classic - to benefit Maine Special Olympics - 24th year of this annual golf tournament. Lobster bake, sports auction, and play golf with a celebrity! All while helping those less fortunate to receive sports equipment and to give them opportunities to lead more fulfilled lives! $250 per golfer includes: lobster bake on Friday, September 26th at the Boothbay Railway Village followed by a sports memorabilia auction and the tournament itself on Saturday, September 27th. Damariscotta Pumpkinfest - Oct 3 - 12, 2015

October 3 & 4 - Boothbay Railway Village - Family Harvest Days - The Boothbay Railway Village invites families to celebrate the bounty of autumn at an old-fashioned, family-friendly festival on Saturday & Sunday, October 3 & 4. Perfect for families who want an alternative to the big fairs and commercial midways, there will be displays of antique tractors, barrel train rides, farm animals and much more. Watch a butter churning demonstration and then taste the fresh butter on New England brown bread baked according to a 100 year old recipe.

48th Annual Fall Foliage Festival - Oct 10th and 11th 2015
Maine Crafts, culinary booths, chowder, cheeses, chili, and home baked goods.  Two days of toe-tapping music and entertainment. There are steam train rides and antique autos on the grounds. Sponsored by the Boothbay Information Center and the Boothbay Railway Village on Route 27.
