Length of Stay

For weekend reservations we require a minimum stay of two nights (pre-paid) and for holiday weekends a minimum stay of three nights. During the week we accept nightly reservations for all of our accommodations except those that are only rented by the week. For Windjammer Days (this year June 21 and 22), we also require a two-night minimum stay.

Deposit Policy

All reservations are subject to prior confirmation and require payment of an advance deposit (see below for amount of deposit required). VISA, MasterCard, Amex, and Discover may be used for the deposit; the charge will be processed immediately. Deposits made by credit card are subject to the same cancellation and refund policy as deposits made by check or cash. Personal or banker’s checks (U.S. funds only) are also accepted for deposits, but only if the check is received far enough in advance to ensure bank clearance of the check.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

All refunds are subject to a $25.00 cancellation fee. If you must cancel, your deposit for a room reservation will be refunded only if we are notified at least 14 days prior to the date of your confirmed arrival; for housekeeping unit reservations, we require 60 days’ notice. In the event of cancellation within 14 days of your confirmed arrival, your deposit will be refunded only if we are able to re-book your room or cottage for the first night of your reservation, the last night of your reservation, and/or any additional nights to which your deposit applies. There are no refunds for early departures.

This policy reflects our “off the beaten track” location. Because we are 6 1⁄2 miles from major roads and heavy traffic, we get very little walk-in business, and advance reservations are the foundation of our business. When a cancellation occurs, it is difficult and unlikely that we will be able to resell the room.

Restaurant Information

Our restaurant features a variety of fine Continental and American cuisine, from both the sea and shore. The dining rooms overlook the ocean and feature a western exposure, so the sunsets are spectacular.

Dinner is served nightly, Mid-June through Columbus Day Weekend. Seasonal hours. A complete buffet breakfast is served from mid-June through Labor Day Weekend. A complimentary continental breakfast is available in the autumn. Serving hours are 7:30 to 10 a.m.
