Our family had an opportunity to stay at your inn on July 11. I wanted to say thanks for a great stay and wonderful accommodations. We arrived in East Boothbay a couple of hours early and your staff was incredibly accommodating and even managed to get our room cleaned early and get us checked in earlier than we expected. Our boys had never seen the ocean and they were very excited to have an opportunity to jump off the pier and swim in the salt water. They didn’t stay in long though, as it was very cold and they were happy to warm up in the heated pool. We also enjoyed a hike along the rocks in Grimes Cove. The scenery and ocean sounds were breathtaking and it was very interesting to watch the lobstermen pull in their lobster traps in the morning. We had a wonderful vacation in Maine and thanks again for the great location to share the ocean with my family. Sarnia, Ontario
In the 1940s and 1950s my parents took my sister and me to Linekin Bay Camp on Wall Point. We used the Linekin and Linekin II to get into Boothbay Harbor. On the way, the ferry always gave us a great trip around the Bay, stopping often at Ocean Point when your spinnaker had been hoisted. I often wondered what it would be like to stay out on Ocean Point where all of those happy people would get on the ferry. This year, Dixie and I decided to find out. We loved staying at the Ocean Point Inn. We canceled many of the side trips that we had planned because all of coastal Maine, it seemed, was all there right off our Lodge balcony. The side trips had become unnecessary. We hope that you will be there next summer—just like we left it.
We just returned from our wonderful stay at Ocean Point. The family package was great, although we didn’t have time for the complimentary pizza, (too busy). I must say the breakfast pizza was awesome as well as the frittata we had for breakfast. I had to ask the chef about it. I’m not one for letters but my husband and I had to let you know that your staff is wonderful. We told your husband when we were leaving that for such young people they were really concerned about our stay and genuinely pleasant! Jake was our waiter twice and really deserves a compliment. I know that the packages for next year aren’t available yet, but is it too soon to make reservations for next year and decide on a package when the time comes? We thought we had the best room in the best spot, and the kids had a blast! If it’s not too early to book, I’ll call you by phone. Rowley, MA

My fiancé and I just stayed with you this past month. First off let me say that the experience, as always, was fantastic. We stayed in the Hatchard House overlooking the water, which was just incredible. We took part in your Romance package, and I’m wondering if it would be possible to take part in this package again next month.
